Descendant of the 1.60m performer Carlow van de Helle, Carlo Van Klapscheut Z is a grandson of Eric Lamaze's champion Coriana Van Klapscheut, who is herself the mother of the 1.60m performers Goriana Van Klapscheut and Koriano Van Klapscheut.

Under the saddle of Thibeau Spits, he has been placed in the CSI3* 1.50m Grand Prix in Oliva at the age of 8. He is also consistently placed in 1.45m events: 2nd in the CSI2* Grand Prix in Bonheiden, 4th and 6th in the CSI2* in Lier...
